Yin yoga

A wonderful complement to other more dynamic styles of yoga, Yin yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. Yin yoga allows the flow of nutrients and energy through the body, aiding in better overall health.

Yin is a slower-paced class where postures are held for longer periods of time – usually around three to five minutes. Holding the postures allows for deeper stretching and release of the relatively stiff connective tissues. This facilitates greater circulation through the body and improved flexibility.
